With over 20 years of experience in public accounting, including past roles as a Controller and CFO, I can understand multiple perspectives and draw on deep industry knowledge while building strong, trusting relationships to deliver an exceptional client experience. I've also had the privilege of working with organizations of all sizes.
A Licensed Public Accountant holding CPA and Chartered Accountant designations, I earned my Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from Ryerson University. Earlier in my career, I worked with industry leaders and served as a lead professor at Seneca College. From my previous roles, I gained valuable experience working with owner-managed companies and founded an accounting firm where I delivered strategic advice and solutions to support my clients’ growth. Through my work in the profession, I’m honored to have been nominated three times for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, which celebrates the achievements of women in business across Canada.
Outside of my work, I’m passionate about giving back to the community. I support causes close to my heart including the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, and various animal rescue organizations. As a St. John Ambulance volunteer, my dog and I bring comfort and joy to members of the community where program participants reap the therapeutic benefits of the unconditional companionship of a four-legged friend.
