Through education, compassion, and honesty, I empower debtors to take control of their financial future by acting as a guide to finding a debt solution that works best for them. Mediating between debtors, regulators, and creditors, I put myself in my clients’ shoes and make empathy my best ally. Being a part of person’s journey from overwhelming debt to a renewed financial outlook is extremely rewarding.
Passionate about professional development, I hold several designations such as a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional, Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and an MBA.
Prior to joining our Firm’s Consumer Insolvency practice, I began my career in our Sydney, NS office. I had the opportunity to work with local businesses and individuals, helping them navigate challenges and unlock opportunities. This work sparked my passion for helping people take control of their finances.
In my role, I support colleagues on their professional development; I help my clients achieve a fresh start; and I empower my community through financial education. I lead a geographically dispersed team and ensure we maintain the highest professional standards. As a judgment-free practice, we know the reasons behind debt and do our best to provide efficient, actionable solutions.
Giving back to the profession, I am the Atlantic Forum Chair for the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.
Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my dog and mastering my skills at the golf course.
