I translate numbers into actionable insights so they can focus on making strategic decisions. My meticulous attention to detail enables me to spot patterns, anomalies, and correlations to achieve a level of thoroughness, accuracy, and quality that is second to none.
For over a decade, I’ve been helping business owners with succession planning, estate planning, acquisitions, governance systems, and conflict management. With broad experience working with family-owned businesses, I help families find common ground and harmony in support of their business and personal goals. From the practical matters of running a business to the less tangible, interpersonal skills needed to align differing points of view, I’ve helped my clients navigate it all.
These experiences have provided me with practical insights that I integrate into my teaching at Western University and its affiliate, King’s University College. Using relatable examples and real-world applications, I distill complex tax concepts into thought-provoking analogies and stories that engage aspiring CPAs.
A collaborative team member, my role is not only be supportive, but to empower my colleagues to be the best version of themselves. Knowing I always have their back allows them to feel comfortable stretching further and accomplishing even more.
Involved in my community, I’m a member of the Strathroy Middlesex Hospital Board, where I chair the Resources Committee.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about the great outdoors and love nothing more than lacing up my hiking boots and hitting the trails with my Labrador Retrievers. We’re close to completing the Bruce Trail from end-to-end! I’m also an avid volleyball player and have spent my entire adult life on the beach court!
