My passion for learning keeps me curious and engaged—hearing ideas and experiences from my team is one of my greatest joys. I’m constantly inspired by the individual contributions of our colleagues and the strength of our teamwork at Doane Grant Thornton.
As a member of the National Management Committee, Partnership Board, OXARO Board, and the Chief Financial Officer at the Firm, I’m responsible for finance, FP&A, business operations, real estate, procurement, resource management, administration, and information technology.
Having worked in progressively senior roles at professional accounting firms and large public companies, I’ve developed a collaborative leadership style that thrives on trust, respect, and the input of my colleagues. I lead as a coach and enjoy diving into the ‘why’ behind new projects to add context to team discussions. My guiding principle, “be prepared,” is a lesson from my past as a Girl Guide and empowers me to embrace new challenges.
Outside of the office, I've dedicated my time to serving my community as a youth curling coach and have held the position of Chair for my club’s youth curling section. I was also an active member of the club’s curling council and finance committee, and I served as the Treasurer of the Toronto Curling association.
