As a trusted advisor, I get to know client’s history so that I can better understand what motivates their decisions. I then apply my 25 years of broad business experience and in-depth tax specialization to help get them where they want to be. I have a wealth of regional experience with a portfolio that includes locally owned businesses of different size, and larger business groups operating across the Maritimes.
Professionally, I have been a tutorial leader for the CPA’s In-depth Tax course for five years and tutored for the Income Tax Practitioners course.
Taking great pride in giving back to my community, I am a Board member of the local CBDC Pictou County Investment Committee and a Chair for the overall CBDC NOBL Board operating across Couties of Antigonish, Pictou, and Colchester. It gives me great pride when I’m able to help small businesses get funding unavailable to them through traditional sources to foster economic growth and development in our communities. I’m also a Treasurer for the New Leaf, an organization focused on developing healthy partner relationships and parenting support.
When I’m away from the office, I enjoy golfing and spending time at the beach, but my true passion is spending time with my wife and three children.
