I help clients with audit, internal controls, and accounting advisory services to help businesses comply with reporting requirements so owners can focus on business priorities. Approaching each business holistically, I also consult on ethics and governance, and bring in experts to address clients’ specific needs.
Working with crown corporations, public companies, municipalities, and privately held businesses with national outreach, I advise on reporting requirements for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS), and Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE). With each client, I make sure their financial reporting services go smoothly and doesn’t require excessive resources. I’m committed to setting clear expectations, delivering exceptional client service, and always being just a phone call away.
A designated Chartered Professional Accountant, I gained my practical experience in Alberta and Nova Scotia. To keep professional standards bar high, I’m first to share my expertise with colleagues or deliver courses at CPA Nova Scotia.
To give back to my community, I’m currently a board member and treasurer for the Dartmouth Adult Services Centre. I’m also a member of the Nova Scotia Communities Committee leading regional work on helping local organizations through the Grant Thornton Foundation.
Outside of work, I like to spend my time travelling and indulging my interest in photography. A true water lover, I can spend my summer days kayaking, canoeing, floating, or paddle boarding.
